We might be practicing social distancing, but you can still see our old neighbourhood on Queen Street West in two new movies. The intersection of Queen & John makes cameos in both the Rolling Stones' latest music video, "Living In A Ghost Town", and the new Beastie Boys documentary, BEASTIE BOYS STORY.

The Stones’ video was filmed recently, while Toronto has been in quarantine. In contrast, the Beastie Boys documentary uses footage of the group’s appearance at the 2004 MuchMusic Video Awards and hundreds of people can be seen lining the streets.

BEASTIE BOYS STORY was recently part of our Big Cine Tunes online film festival. You can watch “Living In A Ghost Town” below.

When Shortstack Records reopens, you’ll find our store at our new location near Dundas & Bathurst.
